Benny Kozian 

Benny Kozian studied Classics (Greek Literature), Philosophy and Educational Science at the University of Hamburg (B.A. 2018–2022; winter term 2019/20: semester abroad at the Accademia Vivarium novum in Frascati, Italy) and Classics (Greek Literature) at the University of Cambridge, UK (M.Phil. 2022–2023). In October 2023, he took up his Ph.D. at the Eberhard-Karls-Universität Tübingen with a project on the philosophical semantization of space and time in the Platonic dialogues. His main fields of study include Ancient philosophy, especially Plato as philosopher and literary artist; Greek drama, especially Euripides; and literary theory.

After working as the editorial assistant of eisodos since February 2022, he finally took up the co-editorship with Sophie Emilia Seidler in September 2023.

Sophie Seidler

Sophie Emilia Seidler is doing her doctorate at the Graduate School Language & Literature at the LMU Munich with an interdisciplinary thesis on versions of the Persephone myth. She studied General and Comparative Literature and Classics at the FU Berlin, the University of Vienna and the University of Washington, Seattle. Her research interests include Hellenistic literature, Augustan poetry (especially Ovid), gender studies, literary theory, posthumanism and reception/rewriting. After preparing a special issue with Dr. Bettina Bohle, she finally took up the co-editorship of eisodos with Benny Kozian in September 2023.
